You can recall from earlier reports thats the Argentine mid-fielder has not joined United on their pre-season tour to America,and Manager Louis van Gaal had said "I don't know why".
"There is good possibility he could sign but there is nothing official yet" said Laurent Blanc,after a defeat by Chelsea.
"We need to have patience a little longer.The outcome is very close".
French newspaper,L'Equipe has reported United has agreed a £46.5m with the French champions for the 27 year old.
But what is understood now is that talks is still on going for a deal to be agreed on
"He was not on the plane after the 3-1 win over Barcaelona,at the Santa Clara,California" said van Gaal.
"Marcos Rojo was not on the plane.He has had a passport issue-for Di Maria,I don't know why,I cannot say anything".
